You Have:

CAPTIVE INSURANCE ACCOUNT MANAGER

Atlas is looking to recruit another Account Manager in our Charlotte, NC office to help deal with the growth we are experiencing. The Account Manager will work with a team that manages multiple types of captive insurance companies across multiple states. Prior experience in the insurance industry is required, and experience in the captive industry is preferable. A relocation package may be provided.

General Responsibilities and Duties: Summary: To manage a diverse portfolio of captive insurance companies, with preparation of timely financial reporting, regulatory filing requirements, premium taxes and liaison with auditors, actuaries and other third-party providers while providing excellent client servicing.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Serve as account manager for an assigned group of captive insurers, handling the financial, corporate secretarial and other operating functions of each captive including oversight of the insurance program
• Prepare financial statements including all supporting working papers, reconciliations and other management information reports
• Perform regulatory compliance, including annual report filings and premium tax filings to the captives’ domiciliary States
• Act as liaison with third party service providers, including auditors, actuaries, tax preparers, investment managers and attorneys
• Assist with new client license applications
• Complete special projects and other tasks assigned

Qualifications and preferred skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • CPA or equivalent relevant qualification required
• Minimum two years insurance accounting experience required
• Experience managing captives, including RRGs, is preferred
• Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred
